Putting Pandora Back into the Box.

In this week’s Whiteboard Friday - Link Wars, Rand Fishkin discusses the “war” that happens in the spam game. He takes a look at how Google interprets link manipulation, how spammers combat this, and how webmasters should consider a link either Black Hat or White Hat.

In summation if you are creating Black Hat links none of this matters but if you are looking to create White Hat links:
