SearchFest 2007 Fantastic Conference!

Filed Under Internet, Marketing, SEM, SEO |

I hope you made it to SearchFest 2007 in Portland, Oregon yesterday. The venue was packed with incredible information from some of the best in the SEO/SEM industry.

The event was held at the World Forestry Center which is in the trees next to the Oregon Zoo (fantastic location). We had a great day of good food and drink, great information, and even better networking.

Thank you SEMpdx for putting on such a fine event.

Jeffery Pruitt from SEMPO and iCrossing presented the keynote “Future of Search, How to be found”.

Rand Fishkin: The Wizard of Moz from SEOmoz, pulled a fast one on us when he switched his topic from Viral Content Creation & Marketing: The Practice of Linkbait to 6 Morsels from the World of Search Marketing. Rand did promise to make his original presentation slides available to us.

Heather Lloyd-Martin from SuccessWorks presented a SEO Copywriting Workshop,
Positions for Nothing and the Clicks For Free: Secrets of SEO Copywriting.

Scott Hendison from Search Commander gave us SEO Magic bullets.

There were many more top notch presenters. There were actually over 25 presenters in attendance, Google, Yahoo, and MSN also sent top notch representatives.

This was a fantastic venue. Didn’t make it? You will be able to order a DVD from SEMpdx.

Mark your calendars, I would suggest you plan on attending this event next year!
